The Celebrity Traitors in Ireland: Is It on RTÉ Player?
As of Saturday 3 October, no Irish channel is confirmed for series 2 of The Celebrity Traitors: the BBC shows it on BBC One and BBC iPlayer every Thursday and Friday at 8pm, which is the same clock time in Ireland, but RTÉ has announced only series 1 for RTÉ Player, so no Irish catch-up for series 2 is confirmed either.

When is The Celebrity Traitors on, and is it the same time in Ireland?
The clocks in the UK and Ireland match, so 8pm on BBC One is 8pm Irish time. The series started on Thursday 1 October with an extended opening episode, and the Irish Examiner's viewing guide lists ten episodes across Thursday and Friday nights.

The Irish Examiner's guide, published on Thursday 1 October, says series 2 is not initially on RTÉ Player and that it may be added after the run finishes on BBC channels, as happened with earlier series of The Traitors UK. That is the paper's reading, not an RTÉ statement.
Is The Celebrity Traitors on RTÉ Player?
Not series 2, as far as RTÉ has said. Its 26 August season launch announcement said that RTÉ Player will get series 1 of Celebrity Traitors UK later this year. RTÉ's press centre has no date for the celebrity series as of 3 October.
Can you watch it on BBC One or iPlayer from Ireland?
Two different questions sit in there. BBC iPlayer is a UK-only service for streaming, and our guide to UK apps in Ireland covers why the Irish route is RTÉ Player or Virgin Media Play instead. For the BBC One channel itself, we could not find a broadcaster or platform page that says it is carried for viewers in the Republic, so we are not saying either way. If you're in Northern Ireland, BBC One is part of the normal UK schedule.
For comparison, The Graham Norton Show has an Irish home on Virgin Media One a day after BBC One, and Bake Off is on Channel 4. The Celebrity Traitors has no such listing yet.
Who is the Irish contestant?
RTÉ's entertainment site reported on 30 September that Joanne McNally, a 43-year-old comedian and podcaster, makes her debut in the series; she is among 21 celebrities taking part. The claim that anyone else from Ireland is in the cast rests on one source we could not check, so we have left it out.
