What we collect

We do not use analytics or visitor-tracking scripts, and we set no advertising or analytics cookies. There are no accounts, comments or newsletters on this site.

Hosting

The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic browser information to deliver the page and to protect the site against abuse and attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare may carry out this processing outside the EU, including in the United States, and may set a strictly necessary security cookie when it checks for automated traffic.

Embedded videos

Official clips from YouTube are not loaded when you open a page. You first see a Play video button, and only when you click it is the video loaded from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com). At that point your IP address and device information are sent to Google, which runs YouTube, and YouTube may store information on your device while the video plays. Google's privacy policy applies.

If you email us

If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply and, where needed, to correct the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep the correspondence only as long as we need it for that.

Advertising and affiliate links

This site currently carries no advertising and no affiliate links. Before that changes we will update this page and ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set.

Your rights

If you are in Ireland or elsewhere in the EU, you have rights under the GDPR, including access to and deletion of any personal data we hold. Email us, and you can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
