The Late Late Show Guests: Ashley Campbell, Nathan Carter and Jesse Sludds

The Late Late Show is on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player every Friday night, hosted by Patrick Kielty, and RTÉ announces each week's guests on the Thursday before. This page keeps the current line-up at the top and the previous Fridays underneath, so you can see who has been on since the new series began on 18 September.
- Friday 2 October: a Country Music Special, with Ashley Campbell and Nathan Carter.
- Time and channel: 9.35pm Irish time on RTÉ One, with the episode on RTÉ Player.
- Friday 25 September: Rosie O'Donnell, Rhasidat Adeleke and Kate O'Connor headed the line-up.
Who is on The Late Late Show on Friday 2 October?
RTÉ's own announcement, published on Thursday 1 October, builds the night around country music. Ashley Campbell, the American singer-songwriter and daughter of Glen Campbell, comes in from Nashville to talk about touring with her father and her love of Ireland, and she performs a rendition of Gentle On My Mind. Nathan Carter performs his new single Walk on Faith from the album Doing Alright and talks about playing Carnegie Hall in New York at Halloween, his first time there.
Cliona Hagan and a group of Irish country stars mark the life and music of Dolly Parton, with stories and songs. Jesse Sludds, who won The Late Late Show Opening Act competition in April and later opened for Shania Twain at Thomond Park in Limerick, returns to announce his new single Dear Home. Una Healy, who helped launch the Opening Act search, chats and sings with Clodagh Lawlor and Claudia Buckley. Jimmy Buckley, Sandy Kelly, David James, Trudi Lalor and Ciarán Rosney are also on the bill.

What time is The Late Late Show on?
RTÉ lists the show for Fridays at 9.35pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player, and that is the slot given in each of this series' guest announcements. RTÉ One is free-to-air in Ireland. The pattern this series has been a Thursday release: the first line-up came out on Thursday 17 September, the second on Thursday 24 September and the Country Special line-up on Thursday 1 October. We add the Friday 9 October line-up here once RTÉ publishes it, and until then it is not confirmed. The big December date is covered on our Late Late Toy Show page.
